Groups and Committees

The OL Club 

Once a pupil leaves Lancing, they become an OL. As OLs, they are part of an invaluable social and professional network, which includes Lancing Linked – an online platform to help them to stay in touch with their peers and other OLs. The OL Club holds three annual events: the Young OLs reception, the summer reception, and the OL Carol Service. They also collaborate with the Foundation Office to part fund year group and House reunions for OLs. OL sports teams are continually active and provide a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends. 

OLs are also invited to participate in school events such as University Ambassadors and My Future. University Ambassadors are recent leavers who come back to share their university experiences with current pupils. My Future focuses on eight different career options from Third Form through to Sixth Form, and OLs from across the decades come to the College to interact with small groups of pupils and talk about their profession.

The Lancing Parents Association 

All parents of Lancing pupils are automatically members of the Lancing Parents Association. The Association provides a welcoming environment for parents to connect, engage, and enjoy Lancing life, including social events throughout the year as well as the opportunity to attend the annual AGM and become part of the LPA Committee which steers event planning. 

Membership of the LPA extends beyond your child’s time at Lancing, and you will continue to receive regular newsletters and invitations to special events, including the carol services. 

The Friends of Lancing Chapel 

The Friends of Lancing Chapel is an independent charity that has provided financial support and professional advice for 80 years. Working alongside the Lancing Chapel Trust, the Friends ensure the preservation and maintenance of our Chapel. The Friends rely on visitor donations, specific appeals, and member contributions to continue their work. Annual memberships start at £20.
