Sport
Sport plays a central role in the co-curricular programme, with competitive fixtures and training taking place on two afternoons a week. Teams compete in sports including:
- Football
- Hockey
- Cricket
- Netball
- Badminton
- Swimming
- Athletics
- Basketball
- Squash
- Tennis
Additionally, pupils can explore a range of other sports such as Climbing, Fencing, Fives, Golf, Aikido, Riding, Rugby, Running, Shooting, and Table Tennis, as well as fitness-based activities like Gym, Metafit, and Yoga. For those who simply enjoy fresh air, a walking group is also available.
Kit Requirements: Pupils should ensure they bring the correct sports kit, mouthguards, and shin pads for Football (boys) and Hockey (girls) in the first term.

Equestrian Centre
The Lancing Equestrian Centre offers riding lessons and Horseball for all levels, from beginners to experienced riders looking to develop their dressage and jumping skills. Pupils can also take part in non-riding activities such as Pony Care training and British Horse Society Career Pathway qualifications. A limited number of stables are available for pupils wishing to keep their own horses on-site.
Pupils can also join the Lancing College Equestrian Team, competing in events using their own or borrowed horses.
