For those further afield Families
Transfers to the College are undertaken by our preferred taxi company, which need to be pre-booked by the parent or guardian via our online booking platform, Vectare: Taxi booking form
One of the key benefits of Vectare is the ability to request a taxi directly. Your request is then directed to our preferred provider, Brighton and Hove Radio Cabs, with all the information they need to be able to confirm your child’s taxi. This real-time contact ensures that you can plan your child’s transportation more efficiently.
Once your request has been completed, you will receive contact from Brighton and Hove Radio Cabs with a quote. Once you have accepted their quote, you will receive driver confirmation, together with a contact number and registration plate of your booked taxi at least 24 hours prior to your trip.
Brighton and Hove Radio Cabs can be contacted on 01273 414141.
All their drivers have an enhanced DBS check.
For international students, we offer robust support to make travel as seamless as possible for both parents and children:
Airport Transfers
A coach is available for larger groups between Lancing and Gatwick (40 minutes) or Heathrow (75 minutes) airports at the end of each term.
For individual needs, we can help with cost-effective shared taxi services, (when booked via our online booking platform), with other pupils travelling on similar flights.
We also offer an accompanied school coach pick-up service from Heathrow airport at the start of each new term – subject to the number of requests.
These are bookable via our online departures and arrivals form which is sent to parents/guardians 2-3 weeks before each school holiday/exeat weekend.
Visa Assistance
As a UKVI-licensed sponsor, we ensure that pupils have the correct visas and provide detailed travel letters to families before each holiday.
Unaccompanied Minor Support
We liaise closely with parents, guardians, and Housemasters/Housemistresses to provide tailored support, ensuring every child feels secure throughout their journey.
Airports: The closest airport is London Gatwick followed by London Heathrow
Train Station: Our nearest train station is Shoreham by Sea which has direct trains to both London and Brighton

Bicycles
Pupils are responsible for maintaining the safe condition of their own bicycles. Parents are kindly requested to ensure that their child’s bicycle is properly insured. Students should lock their bikes up at the designated bike racks around the school site. In addition, all pupils riding bicycles must wear a helmet.
Skateboards
For the safety and wellbeing of everyone, skateboards, hoverboards, and similar devices are not permitted on or within the school grounds.
Cars, motorcycles etc
No motor vehicle may be brought to school without the express consent of the Senior Deputy Head. Such consent is granted only with parental agreement and exclusively for Sixth Form pupils. Furthermore, no pupil may drive a car with another pupil as a passenger without written permission from the parents of all involved. This permission must be communicated to the relevant Housemaster(s)/Housemistress(es) and confirmed by the Senior Deputy Head.
Pupils may drive or be driven in a car only in the following circumstances:
- When accompanied by a parent or another pupil’s parent (with the prior consent of their own parents).
- For official driving lessons, with permission from the HMM.
- With special permission from the Senior Deputy Head following a written application from the parents.
These guidelines apply to all motor vehicles.
