A Warm Welcome
At Lancing, we believe that the most meaningful education is one that encourages pupils to think critically, act with integrity, and grow in all aspects of life. With a broad range of opportunities to explore their passions, challenge themselves, and engage with the world around them, our young people leave Lancing not only ready for the future but eager to shape it. It is this blend of strong academic foundations, personal growth, and a genuine sense of community that makes Lancing a truly special place to be.
It is a real privilege for me to serve as Lancing’s Head Master, and to be part of a school community that places such value on nurturing every pupil’s potential.
This handbook is designed to provide you with all the key information and reassurance you need before your child joins us. It will also serve as a useful reference throughout their time here, with guidance on everything they will need as they progress through the College. There’s no need to remember everything here, but please do look through it with your child before they start, so they feel as familiar as possible with the school.
Dr Scott Crawford | Head Master
