Transport

Smooth and safe travel arrangements are a top priority, whether your child is travelling across the globe or just a few miles down the road. With decades of experience, we’re committed to providing tailored support to ensure every journey between home and school is as seamless as possible.

Local Transport Services

Lancing pupils arrive at the College from a wide range of home locations. Where feasible, the College would like to encourage parents to use the bus service. This helps alleviate potential traffic congestion on the College site at peak times, has the obvious environmental benefit of general traffic reduction, and is more cost effective for parents rather than using their own vehicles.

All routes operate to and from the College on Monday to Friday. The buses aim to arrive at the College by 08:10 each morning and depart at 18:05 in the evening. Please note that on the Friday evening of an Exeat weekend, the vehicles leave the College at 16:00.

On Saturdays, the service ONLY operates in the morning, arriving at College for 08:35.

Lancing College is now partnering with Vectare, a specialist school transport management company, to improve our transport offering. All bookings for the school bus routes are made via our online booking system, which can be viewed at lancingcollege.vectare.co.uk .

The website also incorporates an interactive journey planner which allows you to enter your postcode and find your closest stop. Transport on the school bus service must be arranged in advance and is paid for through the Lancing College Vectare online booking system.

Bookings will open for new parents in July 2025.
